How to Use Tarot Cards for Meditation & Intention Setting
Tarot cards can be used for meditation to help you deepen your spiritual practice and gain insight into your life.
With the right guidance and a bit of practice, you can use tarot cards as a tool for meditation and reflection.
Here are some tips for getting started!
1. Choose the right deck
Before you begin your tarot-based meditation, it’s important to select the right deck. Choose a deck that resonates with you and has illustrations and symbols that have meaning to you.
We use the Rider-Waite tarot deck!
2. Learn the basics
If you’re new to tarot, it’s a good idea to spend some time learning the basic meanings of the cards.
This will give you a better understanding of the symbols and images on the cards and how they relate to each other.
3. Choose a card
Once you’ve chosen a deck, select a card to focus on during your meditation.
You can do this by either randomly selecting a card or by asking yourself a question and then choosing a card based on that.
4. Focus on the card
Once you’ve chosen your card, focus on it and allow yourself to become immersed in it.
Take some time to really look at the images and symbols on the card and let yourself become absorbed in it.
5. Reflect
As you meditate on the card, take some time to reflect on what the card is telling you.
Let the images and symbols spark your imagination and allow yourself to explore the meaning behind them.

6. Journal
After your meditation, take some time to write down any insights or thoughts that you had during your reflection.
